We’re super excited to be playing our first show of 2012 on Friday, Jan 20th. We’re opening for Under The Covers at Joe’s Apartment. Under The Covers are friends of mine and they play wicked covers of hard rock tunes, and regular tunes done in a hard rock style. Break out your bandana and eye make and we’ll rock the town. Joe’s Apartment has weird rules, the bands have to be done by 10:30. Since we’re opening, we start at 7:45. It’ll be the rockinest early evening show ever!

So far it’s looks like 2012 is gonna be a big year for The Chris King Maneuver. Last year was hampered by losing our bass player to an overseas romance and me breaking my foot. This year we’ve got a solid line-up, a new album getting mixed and show already booked. We’re playing on Jan 20th with Under the Covers at Joe’s Apartment. They are a wicked hard rock cover band and we are stoked to share the stage with them.

Gearing up for Rock-tober!

It’s going to be an exciting October for The Chris King Maneuver. We’ve got two really big shows. The first is Saturday, Oct 8th at Joe’s Apartment. It’s the first time I’ve played there since I broke my foot falling off their stage in February. Let’s all get together and get my revenge on the floor that decided to beat me up.

The second big show is Saturday Oct 22 at The Railway Club. It’s a battle of the bands called The Van Sessions. We need you to come out and cheer us on so we can win the studio time or whatever it is we will win. Broken Foot Blues

Remember that time I broke my foot falling off stage? I sure do. Now you can relive the memories every day with this video of us playing Perverted the week after my fall. I was doped up on Hydromorphone, so my memories of this particular night are a bit fuzzy. Good thing we taped it.

Sometimes I love being in bands and being a web programmer. While other bands are spending tons of money for a site, only to have to hound down their “web guy” for updates, I can do whatever I want.
